For fifteen generations, the Mayer Family of New York has been in continuous business and has been creating 100% veg tanned handmade leathers of artisanal quality. As time has gone by, very little has changed at Pergamena Parchment and Leathers. THOL is proud to introduce more of Pergamena’s leather gems to our global Crafting community.  This time, it is a variation. A shrunken article of our artisanal leather that you have come to love. This article comes in two colors, Cognac, and Saddle Brown.  We had them add some extra coat of waxy feel to the leather to kick it up another notch. Let us know what you think about these awesome leathers.

Being vegetable-tanned leathers, they are tanned with natural tannins extracted from bark and other plant matter in the tanning process. This traditional tanning method results in a leather that is not only beautiful but is also environmentally friendly. The tannery sources their raw skins from sustainable farms and their leathers are a byproduct of the food supply chain.

Because this is a small batch artisanal handmade item, for large orders the lead time is around 4-6 weeks, if not already in stock. Please contact us, in advance, about large orders. We can arrange for custom colors, based on your Pantone color of choice. Since these are vegetable tanned leathers, freedom with colors may be limited when compared to Chrome leathers.
