Buffalo Calf leathers are naturally luxurious and are prized by makers of luxury grade watch straps, boots, shoes, wallets, etc. Buffalo epidermis is 3 times stronger than that of Cow.  We created Art. Pienza in Tuscany with Buffalo Calf hides and we gave it the much loved and stunning two color hand-rubbed (Italians call it a tamponato) dye effect. You will love that each Pienza hide is almost twice the square footage of a regular sized shell cordovan for the price.

Maker Tip: When cutting or preparing this material for small leather goods and shoes, handle with care to avoid creasing. When preparing for storage, roll in paper from neck down.  Do not fold this leather up for storage. Use a cardboard tube or a paper cylinder to protect leather from unintended creasing due to stacking or mishandling. Store in a cool place away from direct sunlight like other leathers.
